I studied biomedical engineering and biology at NC State before completing my medical degree at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Earlier in my career, I worked at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

My research background includes mesenchymal stem cells, nanoparticle delivery, and cutaneous mosaicism. My professional site brings those strands together with a selected publication and research contact information.
